Our Vertical Bamboo flooring line exudes an Oriental aura. Its elegance and sophistication make it a great choice for almost any application.

Appearance

COLOR: “Caramel” The hue is a rich light brown. The color variation in every box makes this a stunning bamboo product. “Chamois” The hue is a light tan, similar to the maple specie.

GRAIN: The strips of bamboo are aligned and laminated together vertically so that the narrow edge of the strip is visible on the surface giving it a more linear and consistent appearance.

HARDNESS (JANKA): Moderately hard

DIMENSIONAL STABILITY: Extremely stable

DURABILITY: Our Vertical Bamboo flooring products are hard and stable enough to use in both residential and light commercial applications. They are also very suitable for installation directly over a concrete sub-floor, given that it meets moisture level requirements.

The Green Story of Traditional Bamboo

Green Choice Bamboo is made from the well-managed Moso bamboo forests of China. This bamboo can be harvested every 5-7 years without replanting because of an extensive root system that sends up new shoots for decades. Using all FSC manufacturing processes, our partners in China have produced an incredible flooring product that is not only ecologically correct, using 50-60% of the bamboo grass, but is also gorgeous and unbelievably durable.
