Appearance

COLOR: “Caramel” The hue is a rich light brown. The color variation in every box makes this a stunning bamboo product.

GRAIN: The strips of bamboo are aligned and laminated together horizontally in a 3 layer pattern. It is made with the wide edge of the bamboo strip facing up showing a broader view of the bamboo growth ring.

DIMENSIONAL STABILITY: Extremely stable

DURABILITY: Our Horizontal bamboo flooring products are hard and stable enough to use in both residential and light commercial applications. They are also very suitable for installation directly over a concrete subfloor, given that it meets moisture level requirements.

This bamboo can be harvested every 5-7 years without replanting because of an extensive root system that sends up new shoots for decades. Using all FSC manufacturing processes, our partners in China have produced an incredible flooring product that is not only ecologically correct, using 50-60% of the bamboo grass, but is also gorgeous and unbelievably durable.
