This product exudes a natural depth of beauty and character not often seen in flooring, and is an excellent use of recycled coconut palm trees. Appearance

COLOR: “Cafe” If you were to mix rich, tawny brown with warm wheat coloring and pour it into a wood flooring product, then add an occasional splash of coppery red, you would see the incredible look of Palm Wood.

GRAIN: It celebrates nature’s beauty with its variegated depth and dimension. A very fresh look.

DIMENSIONAL STABILITY: Very stable

DURABILITY: Our StrandWoven Palm Wood flooring product is hard and stable enough to use in both commercial and residential applications. It is also very suitable for installation directly over a concrete sub‐floor given that it meets moisture level requirements.

The Green Story of Palm Wood

There are millions of acres of coconut plantations around the world. When a coconut tree becomes too old, it stops producing fruit. The tree is then cut down and replaced with a new young tree. We take the soon-to-be disposed of coconut log and use it to create our Palm Wood flooring. It is extremely hard (almost twice the hardness of oak), has incredible character and beauty and is created from a reclaimed raw material.
