This sustainable Distressed series is available in three gorgeous earth-tones: Chestnut, Ebony and Java.

Appearance

COLOR: “Chestnut” Like Java with a more auburn coloring. “Ebony” A deeper brown with random areas of darker grays and blacks. “Java” Beautifully variegated browns and deep auburns reminiscent of freshly plowed earth.

GRAIN: The grain pattern of our Strand Woven product is variegated giving it a very natural look. This flooring has a very dense, unique appearance. It is comprised of different sized strips and strands of bamboo that have been woven together and then compressed into an extremely dense flooring material.

HARDNESS (JANKA): Extremely hard

DIMENSIONAL STABILITY: Extremely stable

DURABILITY: Our Strand Woven floors are hard and stable enough to use in both commercial and residential applications. They are also very suitable for installation directly over a concrete sub‐floor given that it meets moisture level requirements.

The Green Story of Strand Woven Bamboo

Green Choice Bamboo is made from the well-managed Moso bamboo forests of China. This bamboo can be harvested every 5-7 years without replanting because of an extensive root system that sends up new shoots for decades. Using all FSC manufacturing processes, our partners in China have produced an incredible flooring product that is not only ecologically correct, using almost 90% of the bamboo grass, but is also gorgeous and unbelievably durable.
